Stopping a runtime running as a daemon thread

You can stop basic runtimes, runtime cluster nodes, and runtime cloud clusters.

Procedure

1. Open a console window.

2. Go to <installation_directory>\bin and execute the atom stop command.

   This stops the basic runtime, runtime cluster node, or runtime cloud cluster if it is running. If the basic runtime, runtime cluster node, or runtime cloud cluster is already stopped, then this command does nothing.
